Bernice records your ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini conversations into files on your own computer, as you chat. Nothing is sent anywhere. Your recordings stay in folders you choose.

Records as you go

Start a chat, click “Begin This Archive,” and chat as normal. Each conversation gets its own file.

Recovers a whole chat

Open a chat you already have, even one you started on your phone, and click “Recover This Whole Chat.” Bernice saves every message from the beginning.

Shows you it’s working

A small tab on the edge of the page. Green means every message is recorded. Red means Bernice needs you.

Reads your saved chats

The Bernice Reader opens any saved chat, points out anything that looks missing, and prints or saves it as a PDF.

Your chats stay with you

No accounts, no servers, no analytics, no tracking. Bernice makes no network connections of its own, and it reads only chatgpt.com, chat.openai.com, claude.ai and gemini.google.com.

Good to know

Bernice records the words of your chats. It does not save files you attach or files the AI creates; it notes their names so you know they were there. Keep your own backups of anything important.
